Made a trade that got vetoed in a league of mine. I would like yalls input as i see it was a slight underpay for me but commish said that i was overpay and his exact words were "I would be getting 2 good rookies for 8+ years and moncrief who had a lot of potential" I think it was the dumbest reason to have it vetoed.

Julio by a little for me. Moncrief is a turd. In no league should that be vetoed. Actually thought it was going to get vetoed the other way.

I'd prefer Julio in a vacuum but I certainly think it's fair. I wouldn't move Julio for that deal but I have no issue with it at all. I don't think a veto is appropriate. They rarely are.

I can see both sides of this deal.  Seems entirely fair to me.

Trade vetoing is a dinosaur of a practice that ought to go the way of the dodo.

the thing that blew my mind is that this was vetoed and a trade got accepted almost unanimously was 1.04 and 19 late 1st mostly likely for 1.05 and devonte freeman

Yep

Frankly this is probably as close to perfect value as you can get.

Unless there is collusion involved, there should be no vetoes of trades. Everyone looks at things differently and nobody knows what the future holds

Find another league.

Why is league veto voting a thing.  Presumably the trade makes both teams better.  Wouldn't perfect strategy be to veto all trades?

this trade is fine

I could not even say which side was deemed to be the "winner".  This is the kind of trade if I saw posted in the trade thread I'd have not commented on and if I did would have just said something like "seems even to me".

This kind of thing is a league deal breaker. Perhaps you got a loaded team and would enjoy sticking it to them a little longer, but I'd not want to be in a league with this kind of stuff going on.

As a Julio owner, if you are going to move him that’s about the best you are going to get at this point in his career.  He’s a dapreciating asset

im probably one more stupid veto away from walking away from a league that vetoes trades just on personal opinion
