I only watched a few minutes of the game. I think ANY coach would let the best rb win, JJ or BarberIII. That includes Parcells.

If they are both healthy, Jones will win the job in preseason. But Barber is good enough to take 8-10 carries if there is still room for that much for a competent backup. Right now with Parcells, there is.

I don't see how someone speculating about a team in the aftermath of the head coach's potential retirement implies the above.

On the side of Parcells staying, the Cowboys have some NICE pieces, many of them very young, on Defense to look forward to next year. Assuming they could add a few new guys and the young guys developed, that defense could be scary and at a Championship type level in a short time. THAT would be worth sticking around for.
