Meaningful college football in spring? If SMU head coach June Jones had his way, this long-sought pipe dream could be a reality.

In lieu of the NCAA unveiling a plan to shift decision-making autonomy in Division I athletics heavily to the Power Five conferences, the Southern Methodist coach said the non-Power Five should make a drastic change:

(I don't believe theres another post) But I believe we would get more from the subject w only positive feedback to start ex.: Id probably enjoy watching NIU (MAC games) more when it doesn't interfere w other important stuff...

Don't like the idea. But June Jones is an amazing football coach. Turned around Hawsii, now SMU. The guy just wins.

tbh I didn't really like the idea to start.. But Coach Jones has experienced College footballs unjusts first-hand. ie. We will pay you X amt of dollars to come play an away game (Answer Thank-you But NO!)

Now I don't like change anymore than anybody else..

I believe the most interesting aspect /concern which probably couldn't result (soon anyway) would involve both Spring and Fall Ball at two separate Schools. ie. Oh yeah Player A would be the starting QB, But player B is coming from the Big Ten and hopes to leave School early ex. 4 Seasons in two yrs

p.s. It hurts to know some guys do better than me in FF who put so much weight in the Combine! But yeah I would have to record the Combine LOL

There is a rule that you have to wait 1 year to play again if you transfer schools (exception if you graduated from the first school)

You could graduate in January, enroll in a new school in February, and play one more season before NFL training camps begin.
