Just 1 Bold ### prediction (1 Viewer)

Pretty sure the Titus Young will have more TDs than Calvin Johnson in week 10 wins hands down.
I have to agree. There are some good predictions, but I think this is the boldest one that came true for sure.
Nope, I asked for bold prediction with numbers had he said that the Lions would struggle and Calvin would still have a ton of yards but only catch a few touchdowns while Titus Young would struggle in the yardage but would have more touchdowns. Then that would have followed what I was asking for and he would have been the winner hands down.

If that's what it takes to "win" this contest, remind me to ignore this 1 BOLD Prediction thread next year.

Please do so we can get people that follow the rules, I offered up a free entry contest with a nice prize to the winner. Now you want to whine about how I decide a winner, after I went through and explained the rules and even gave an example of what I was looking for. Cry me a river because your reading comprehension is at a 3rd grade level and I hurt your feelings because I didn't pick the one of the broadest picks out there. Seriously think about it, does Calvin get hurt? Did Titus Young blow up? Did Stafford go down and Shaun Hill dink and dunk all his passes down the field? Did Titus Young start fielding punts and return 4 of them for scores? I asked for bold and specific, it is bold, but not specific at all. Frankly I could care less if you don't like it.

First 10 weeks for

Wayne

:

53 catches 665 yards 5 tds

Percy Harvin

will have over 100 total yards & at least 1 TD every single gosh darn week!

(until week 10 at least)

Randall Cobb

is the highest scoring GB WR by Week 10.

Cobb

910 yards 7 tds

Nelson

900 yards 6tds

Jennings

-Inj 300 yards 2 scores

Brandon Marshall

will be a top 2 WR with a minimum of 80 catches, 1000 yds receiving, 8 TDs...by the end of week 10. The renewed connection between him and

Cutler

, combined with the dual threat of forte/bush, and the new focus on protecting the QB will have the Bears at 8-1 and atop the NFC North.

Amendola

with 46/531/5 (9 games with bye week 9) and is a borderline WR1 in PPR.

Through 9 games,

Eric Decker

will lead Denver in receiving with 57 catches, 715 yds and 6 TDs, making him a top 6 WR in PPR scoring.

Doug Martin

has over 1,000 yards and 7 TD's by week 11.

These are the ones I am considering, feel free to chime in and tell me which you like best. I will make a decision by Sunday night then have the winner PM their address and I will mail out the card Monday or Tuesday. (Depending on when they get me their email) I will also pick a runner up, if the winner doesn't pm their address with in 2 weeks from 11/18/12 I will send it to the runner up.

Is the winner, it was a pretty bold prediction because we all thought Marshall we be good with Cutler again, but going to a new team that likes to run could be scary combo. Marshall's actual stats were 67 for 904 and 7 tds, not to mention the Bears are 7 - 2 and on top of the NFC North.Runner up is this postDoug Martinhas over 1,000 yards and 7 TD's by week 11.That is pretty ballsy for a rookie, on a team that self imploded last year. Had they predicted more and said the Bucs would be 6 - 3 or 5 - 4 and challenging for a wild card spot I think this would have won.Anyways BuddyKnuckles send me your address and I will send out your prize as soon as I get it.

Bad judging :boo:

And I'm a diehard Bears fan. Though I see them coming back down to earth (see @ home vs. Houston), their record is surprising. Cutler/Marshall re-connection is not.

Cobb wins this award. Has outscored 2 consensus Top 15 WR's & the most overhyped TE in fantasy football history.

No sour grapes here, but a little disapointed to see a highly pimped WR win a bold prediction thread.

Alot people probably expected a big year for the reunited Cutler/Marshall, still a good prediction.I was the Wayne guy, figured it was a tad bolder with a rookie qb and on a bad team. The Cobb one was decent, but 400yds off is pretty far off imo, and no reception estimate. Decker was somewhat close also, but again, people kinda expected a jump with Peyton there.I do like the D.Martin one, pretty big prediction on a bad team and as a rookie RB. Great contest Chazz, thanks for doing this.

Thanks, sorry I couldn't make more than one winner.

Tough spot for you, but everyone knew it was YOUR decision to pick a winner, no exact science. You would never be able to get everyone to agree unless someone predicted: Doug Martin 197 carries for 1000 yards and 7tds. Add in 27 catches for 319 yds and 1 more td type prediction!

The guy picking Wayne should have won over the Marshall prediction. Marshall+cutler...we've seen it before. Hardly ANYONE was talking up anything above WR3 for Wayne this year.

Which brings me to my gripe.

How can my prediction of Wayne will have a better fantasy season than Demaryius thomas not be at least considered? That was BOLD because I can tell you NOBODY would have thought they would have ended up with 15 spots of each other in August.

I call for audit. :hophead: make sure this thing wasn't rigged! Yeah, I'm griping over a free contest regarding a contest revolving around fake players...LOL

Peyton Manning struggles, sucks, and weeps and whines openly on national television at least three times before ultimately ending his season halfway through. Tries to blame at least three teammates. Limps to 1550/11/10 and retires in the off-season.
I realize nobody (myself included) gets all preseason predictions right, but I nominate this for worst of the year. Just sucks on so many different levels.

Alfred Morris starts, locks down, averages 90 per, and scores 9 TDs by Week 10, but gets hurt in Week 4, driving everybody through the roof in the fantasy football industry. Comes back in Week 6, earning Shanny's loyalty. 180 touches - 900 yards - 9 TDs. Media hype w/r/t/ Shanahan goes crazy. Also, Braylon Edwards goes 60-700-7 by Week 10 with Wilson scrambling and throwing deep. Watching it already. This stuff sticks to walls like horses!
I'm surprised this didn't get more press. I guess the Braylon prediction screwed him but AlfMo was probably the boldest prediction with the Shanahanigans granted he has gotten 5 TDs after week 10.

Darren McFadden leads all RBs in PPR fantasy points.
What do I get for worst prediction?
You owe Chazz 50 bones.
This could come in handy for next year. Have the ballz to make a bold prediction and win the prize but pay a price if you are wrong.
I like this idea. Of course wed have to have gentlemen but everyone posts a bold prediction and everyone in the contest votes on winner and loser. Loser owes winner. Enough people would get rid of people just voting for friends or against enemies

Good posting, until you ignored your own standards and awarded one of the least boldest predictions the prize. Nothing about Cutler to Marshall is bold.

Accuraccy 9 boldness 2Wayne (a likely hof'r) will do well with the greatest qb prospect since 83. Not nearly as bold as a morris/r Cobb/Doug martin.

I must have missed the post by the judge (you?) where you DQ'd his entry for whatever made up reasons you are coming up with as a Monday morning QB.
