Just how badly will New Orleans beat Detroit (1 Viewer)

If N.O. doesn't win this one, this game will wipe out 90% of all survivor pool participants.

Detroit-23

New Orleans-24

Detroit +13 seems like one of the better bets of the week.

People are going to be very surprised how good a coach Jim Schwartz is this year.

Detroit should definitely put 20+ on the board, it wouldn't surprise me to see them surpass 30pts scored... New Orleans should be able to double up on 'em whatever they score, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them only win by 2-3 touchdowns.

Assuming each team gets the ball 8 times per half and 16 x 7 is 112 then I'm going to say NO 112, Detroit 111 as they come up short going for the win on the road instead of playing for overtime.

As a Saints fan, I know all too well of the Saints' history of sucking immensely when expectations are great. Not touching this one with a ten-foot pole.

The Saints, despite being labeled as a passing team, rushed for four TDs against the Lions last year in a 41-7 win

Det - 21NO - 17
 I would love to know the reasoning behind this one
None whatsoever.
:hophead: Who knows what will unfold? As long as Colston is studly!38-17 Aints
Ha, Lie-Downs will do it again....44-17Brees 400/4Colston 145/2Bush 90/1Shockey 105/1
lol an Ains fan calling the Lions Lie-Downs. You guys have won the same nothing that we have

Not that bad. Det is going to be a better football team then they were last year because they have more talent. Det especially has talent on offense. They will be able to make enough plays vs. a bellow average NO D to keep this interesting. I'm also concerned with what is going on in NO at RB right now.

NO 38

Det 31

The closer this game gets, the more I thnk the Lions are going to smoke them.

Lions Win

37-35

2 points is smoking them, yes.

Just FYI:There are about 400 people in the biggest survivor pool I'm in. Pretty good cross-section of folks.115 people took Baltimore114 people took New OrleansNext highest was New England with 40, then San Diego and Seattle were tied with 28 each.

Ive see nthis game a million times.

Saints up big early like 21 -3 early in the 2nd qaurter

its 28 - 10 at the half

Saints peel back alittle run some prevent - 38 - 24 saints

I'll say NO - 31, Det - 24.

Heard Jim Schwartz talk on the radio last night and I was impressed. He said they had 30 new players on the team this season. He has surrounded himself with experienced coaches and I'm thinking Detroit wins 5 or 6 games this season. New Orleans is not very good on defense either. They weren't very good defensively last season and appear to have done little to improve on it.

I don't expect a blow-out

This makes me think there is even more chance of a blow out in Week 1. NO: 41 DET: 20Play the game again in November and it would probably be closer.
