SUPER ELITE UPPER TIER
In Word, when I italicized a lower case 'a', it changed what it looked like.  I tried it here, and it did not.  The 'a' looks like it does here in Word, but when you italicize it, it turns into a different style.

What gives?

Laughing at how many people are italicizing "a" at the moment.

I see what you mean though.  goes from an "a" like it shows here, to an "a" like most of us hand-write - the "a" that looks like an "o" with the stick on the right side.

ETA: Seems to vary by font.  Arial doesn't do it - Calibri does.

I literally almost described it that exact same way and then deleted it because I thought, "No one will get what I'm saying."

I'm organizing a rally in DC to demand that a and g not be changed when italicized.  My plan is for sometime late summer.  I'll post more information about it as I secure advertisers and donations.

Come be a part of the movement.  Be on the right side of history.

Hunt and peck? Woof.
Not normally.  That’s what made it even worse maybe.  Usually I type without looking and it’s not an issue. But every now and then, for whatever reason, I’d be looking down at the keyboard and press they key and the wrong letter came out.  He did the same #### swapping my comma and semicolon keys.  So screwed up.

Brick from The Middle and his "font club" might be the only attendees.
