Just using camera on Android smartphone....airplane mode? (1 Viewer)

I'll be out of the country in a few weeks and I want to use my android smartphone (LG G2) only for taking pictures. I don't want to receive any calls, texts, e-mails, etc.....just take pictures.

Is airplane mode what I want? Is there another setting that I should use?

Yes, airplane mode will shut off all transmitters. Which will save on battery.

If you decide you need to turn something on, (wifi, gps, blue tooth) you can do so individually from the swipe down menu or in settings, even though you are in airplane mode.

You can also go in and turn off mobile data to be extra sure.
