Moments ago, Attorney Michael Avenatti tweeted that he is investigating an alleged assault committed by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and/or members of his inner circle.  The incident that apparently took place at a club in Virginia last month is at least partially corroborated through a video (seen below) — although no violence or assault is depicted in the video (shown at above link).

Avenatti also says that the incident ‘likely includes underage drinking in violation of VA law’, although no more details of these allegations have yet to be released.

“We are attempting to locate additional witnesses and to identify those depicted in the video,” Avenatti tweeted. “In particular, we need assistance identifying the balding man that grabs the man seated at the bar. We anticipate charges being filed. Anyone with knowledge, pls contact us.”

The video, which can be seen above, was also tweeted by Avenatti.  It clearly shows Tucker Carlson repeatedly cursing, and telling another individual to “get the f–k out of here” several times.

Avenatti went on to respond to an individual asking him what the video reveals, by saying, “You mean other than Tucker repeatedly cursing a guy out seated at the bar while a friend/associate of his makes a bee line for the guy, grabs him off his chair, and then threatens violence?”

Carlson, in a lengthy statement provided through Fox News, said the incident began when a man at the club last month verbally harassed his teenage daughter on her way back from a bathroom and called her a “whore” and “####.”

He acknowledged that his son then confronted the man and threw wine at him. But Carlson maintains neither he nor his son assaulted the man involved. Avenatti disputed that account, saying it’s an “absolute lie.”

The video, caught on another patron’s cell phone, captures part of an argument involving Carlson and a man seated at the bar, whom Avenatti describes in the tweet as a “gay Latino immigrant.” Only a portion of the video was released.

“Guys. Guys, get the f--- out of here,” Carlson, who is seen standing near the bar, can be heard saying. An individual in the video can be seen grabbing a man by the collar. That’s when another person intercedes: “Hey. Hey! … There’s no excuse for violence.” Another person interjects, asking: “Did you see what he did?”
So, drunk guy stops Carlson's teenage daughter on her way back from the restroom, calls her a whore and a ####. Carlson Jr confronts the guy, he admits to it.

Things get heated. Wine is spilled. Someone else grabs the guy's collar.

Creepy Porn Lawyer who recently got caught with a witness fabricating lies about gang rape now claims that Carlson assaulted the guy AND used homophobic and racist language.

It is hard to believe that anyone still take this guy seriously, but I guess as long as he is defending "your side" he is cool to make up any story he wants.

I did not excuse it. I suggested the perpetrators be charged.   I would qualify that as condemnation.  His home was not "attacked." No one was ever in any danger.

His wife was home alone when the thugs showed up.  They pounded on the door and were screaming.  His wife was scared to death and hid in the pantry.  The thugs threw their body against the door in an attempt to break in and cracked their front door.  The incident is under criminal investigation by police.

There was a link earlier showing it didn’t appear as bad as Carlson said (and was still wrong to have it happen at all) including no damage to the door.

I feel bad for his wife. Really. But the rest of this is according to Carlson's recount. He wasn't there. There was no damage to the door, and according to first hand accounts no one threw themselves against anything.  The whole narrative is spin.

I feel compelled to add the disclaimer that no one is ok with this and charges should be brought.

The above link you posted is not taken from Politico (so the attribution to them is false). The tip off was the bolded reference to Avenatti (below) followed by an obvious opinion about him, which Politico would never do in a news piece:

Much of the original story is actually I’m dispute.  And it’s not just this thread where you have been asked to provide links to support your claims and have refused to do so.  You should stop doing that.

And frankly if you are who everyone is saying...you shouldn’t be posting here.

It's dawned on me that democrats have no choice  but  to attack the victims of left wing violence, or ignore it. Otherwise they would have to admit their side does what they accuse the right of doing. Can't have that. Their whole platform consists of  accusing the right of being thugs, racists and facists. And when it comes to rhetoric resulting in violence, we can start with Auntie Maxine and Eric Holder, and Hollywood.

It is asking for proof or documentation of any claims that have made and so far, you have failed to do that, you just keep parroting that it is an established fact, but have shown nothing to prove that, while others here have provided links disputing your assertions of what really happened at TC's.

Just saying I have no need to back up what is known, when it isn't known or hasn't been proven, isn't debate or discussion, it is deflection and trolling.

I read this.  And the column on ThinkProgress. 

There's no question a line was crossed, but it's a very different line if those are accurate.  Defacing his driveway concerns me much less than actual threats, and was (for the larger group) an unsanctioned action according to these reports.
