Justice for Darrent Williams (1 Viewer)

That's big for justice and bigger yet for the City Of Denver.

A lot of press and a lot of controversy about whether Willie Clark would be conviced. The gang deal in Denver came under close scrutiny, the whole way of life and the fear factors that faced the witnesses that testified....."Stiches For Snitches" under public view and review.

What was most interesting to FBG's followers was the testimony of BMarsh and the tears he shed on the stand. When asked if he every thought about the shooting he replied "......every night." The speculation in the local paper was that Marshall wanted out of Denver because of those memories.

Marshall basically get's heat from the Gangster outside the club of choice at the New Year's celebration, invites the thugs inside and these idiots are flashing gang signs and hasselling the party group. It's a good intention gone bad as Marshall was just trying to act like one of the guys.

Life for Clark is not a fair trade for Death for Williams. That guy should be skewered. :bag:

toads...correct me if I am wrong as I am having trouble understanding the context of your post....I though BM actually got into a physical altercation with the gunman prior to the shooting....I can't determine from your post if by "heat" you mean a hard time, or a "whats up my bro, get us in"....he then invites them in, so hopefully it wasn't that he was getting a hard time from them....and not sure no matter what it was how it was a good intention to be hanging with known gang members and inviting them into the club......think the just trying to act like one of the guys thing is downplaying the situation a little.....

haven't heard the whole story or testimony, so set me straight if I am out of line......but I don't think that BM was necessarily trying to be a good guy here......

What ever Marshall did or didn't do, for people to blame Marshall for Williams's murder is very unfair. The guy who pulled the trigger is the only one responsible. Instead of fighting with their fists, these hoodlums, gangbangers, whatever you want to call them, would rather spend the rest of their lives in jail, makes no sense.

I've never heard anyone blame Marshall for Williams's murder. Link?

There has been some speculation that maybe Brandon Marshall was the target. Here is a link to Brandons day in court.

I have seen some haters post some of the sort on this site in other threads, but that could be some non Broncos fans who are uneducated on the topic. I could not begin to understand how BMarsh feels about this, I'm sure he may feel responsible in his own right, but those are the demons he will live with. Not for us to put blame on him, to be honest, I have always thought of Marshall as a good player and person who has made some bad decisions. Ask yourself what if you felt responsible for one of your closes friends death? Would you want out of the city it happened in, and maybe even go to the lengths of acting immature like kicking a football and starting a problem with your coach to do so? Just a thought. In the words of Chris Rock..."I'm not saying its right.... but I understand."

My understanding is that Clark is also awaiting trial for charges of murdering a witness in another case... The guy has a long rap sheet, one that could eventually include being convicted of not one but two murders, not to mention the multiple counts of attempted murder and a litany of other charges. If anyone deserves the death penalty, I'd say it's him.

This is interesting....how the written word get's inturpreted to become "BMarsh being blamed DWill's murder."BMarsh has Ghosts for that night as he has to continually be thinking-rethink his roll.

What came out at trial was:

1) two encounters outside the club...the early one resulting in the thugs getting invited inside after the bridge building jesture by BMarsh and

2) the early moring one where BMarsh goes after Clark (I believe it was Clark but he could have gone after "PonyTail"Harris), and slips on the snow bank.

3) In between those encounters, you've got the gangsters in the club, hasseling the party group.....after being invited to the party and let inside.

Now, if it's true that BMarsh is trying to be a nice guy and he's invited the gangster's inside the club....to the private party....then BMarsh has to be in a unique position, doing the what if deal, for the rest of his days.

That's some serious Ghosts. No one is blaming BMarsh.....except maybe himself.

That's my understanding of the Karmic roll BMarsh played in DWills death.

:tumbleweed:

so BM has an encounter with known gang members outside the club but then as peace gesture he invites the known gang members into the club.....then he is surprised when known gang members once inside the club start flashing gang signs, hassling people..... so then he goes after the known gang members again outside....and they fill the limo full of bullets.......

ouch, that has to be tough to live with......I realize noone is blaming him, and there is no excuse for what they did, but that is how people like that handle their business......should have just stayed away.....

:goodposting: I have said similar things in a lot of B-Marsh threads, but either nobody reads tham, or they just don't want to believe something like this could affect your behavior. Or maybe a lot of people have me on ignore! :bye: Anyway, I agree with you, it could explain Brandons behavior to some extent, but not necessarily excuse that behavior.
