Looks like he was going with "the hot hand". This would truly suck for Smith if Morris continues to get more carries. To me, all of Smith's value was the fact he was almost always on the field.

He was having a good all around game stat wise until the mystery injury, (shoulder again) Maurice Morris is a backup and that is all

They should use Morris more, to give Smith a breather, the guy has been the entire offense this year.

If Smith looses 10% of the carries, to give him some rest I can see his productivity actually increasing. He will have fresher legs at the end of games

I agree with this being very bad for Smith. This was the week for him to blow up and provide trade value. That is shot. I hope that Smith was just dinged up and they didn't want to risk full injury. I'd love to see Smith go back to nearly single-handedly carrying the load.

He didn't seem to be the same after the facemask tackle. He was on pace for a great game.

Kevin Smith strikes me as a hard worker and a decent all around runningback, but not a great talent. I don't think he'll be replaced this year or even share a RBBC with Morris if healthy, but in dynasty I think I would try and move him because I just don't feel comfortable relying on players I don't feel are that talented.
