I'd love to see SD lose this one as it would put the Steelers in. There's almost no chance of that happening though. Plus, SD deserves to get in this year.

 
Hope SD gets in. They're the best team in a much better division.

Embarrassing the Dolphins were in contention to begin with

 
Would be the shock of the year if SD lost this game how it has played it so far with Balt and Miami losing and KC resting basically their entire starting line up.

 
Not a good turnaround there... Chargers dropped a pick six, then the Chiefs complete a 48 yard pass to reach the red zone, and Davis immediately runs for a TD.

Davis is probably going for 200+ yards today...

 
Critically important to get that TD drive right away. Settle for a FG or no points, and things can start to feel dicey in a hurry. That was huge for momentum. Now get a defensive stop, and start the ball rolling towards a big win.

 
Visiting inlaws on east coast. No DirecTV == me watching the Bills/Pats (in a house full of Pats fans) in standard def because their CBS affiliate can't deliver a clean digital signal in a thunderstorm. :cry:

That was another great TD throw by Rivers. He is playing well today, especially considering the interception was on the receiver.

Riversco bombed the Phins game thread and let us all know about it so I wanted to return the favor here. I'm sure you all will take care of business but fun to root against you just the same. We also beat you all earlier and even that wasn't respected so again GO CHIEFS!!! ;)

Ah. I didn't visit that game thread, so wasn't aware. I was definitely rooting for the Jets, though, and I'm happy with the outcome. :)

I'll feel just fine about it if the Chargers win. In my view, the refs took away the Houston game earlier this season on a bad call they admitted after the fact. So the Chargers should already have the last spot locked up.

If only the Dolphins had figured out how to harness the immense talents of Lamar Miller, think of what they could have achieved!

 
The Chargers play to the level of their competition. That's why they have all those quality wins and also why they've dropped a couple games to bad teams.

You pollute every game thread ever week with insipid commentary (Wow, Manning is good) or boring play by play. Cut the guy some slack.
