Low scoring defensive struggle in the first half and let it loose in the 2nd.

Luck does just enough to get it done.

What you got?

The Colts don't need Manning to lose a home playoff game.

31-23 Chefs.

Trent Richardson 6 rushes, 2 yards

Maybe my favorite game of the opening playoff week. This is a tough call. Indy just beat KC @ KC. Then again, KC almost beat a playoff team on the road with their backups. WTF? I like the rested KC team in this one. In the last game, KC was unable to get any pressure on Luck and take advantage of a suspect oline in Indy. I think that changes this go around and KC pulls off the win.

KC 27 Indy 20

am thinking KC should start their 2nd team against the Colts after the showing against the Chargers yesterday. Chiefs won that game at least 2 different times.

Penalty that wasn't called on Succup's FG at end of regulation, would have given Succup a 2nd chance from 36 yards out.

The forward progress ruling on the play that the Chiefs DEF returned for a TD was a joke.

Final Score:

Referees: 2 (blown calls which turn the tide on the game)

Chiefs: 0

Chargers advance, Steelers get heartburn.

Indy's O Line has been playing much better of late. Much of this has to do with a change in philosophy from OC Pep Hamilton. They're using more 3/4 WR sets and running out of it versus trying to just pound it with ineffective run blockers.

The Chefs are 5th in the league in scoring defense allowing 19ppg. The Colts are 9th and are allowing 21ppg. The Chefs are averaging 26.9 on offense and the Colts 24.4.

Colts are 4-2 against playoff teams, the Chefs are 1-5.

I'll call it Colts 27-Chefs 24.

I am not sure I will pick KC to win, but I think Indy's 23-7 win last week over the means absolutely nothing. KC was all but locked into the 5 seed for the last several weeks, so Andy Reid probably took the "let's not show much against a team we are likely to see in the playoffs a few weeks from now" approach.

After resting their starters, the Chefs should be really cookin' next week. A few hors d'ouvres by Dexter, side dishes by Alex, and the piece de resistance from Jamaal.

if KC can get a few guys back (Houston, Hali, Albert, etc), it will help....they need to get some pressure on Luck....KC likes to play man on defense but the secondary is not good enough to stay with WR's if there is no pressure, they will eventually get open and Luck is good enough to pick them apart...

Cooper is a liability in the secondary, hopefully he doesn't play much.....

Bowe had a concussion....

as with most games I think it will come down to turnovers....and special teams may play a big part which might give KC enough of an advantage to overcome the home field advanatge of the Colts....if KC can get a lead and milk the clock with Charles, and Smith getting a few crucial 3rd down conversions, I like KC's chances....the defense that played so well early in the year needs to show some pride and bring it....

KC 27

IND 17

Andy Reid was always pretty good at getting so-so Eagles teams to NFC championships.

Big game from Charles is in order here though, they need that.

31-23 Chefs.

Trent Richardson 6 rushes, 2 yards
along with 60 yards receiving and a TD as Luck needs to dump off before he gets killed.

I like the Chiefs, but I'm calling this Luck's signature game as the Colts win, 27-17

No more "chatter"?

Game's about to start.

I'm thinking the Colts have just not been as good since Wayne went down, Halli and Houston both active.

I see 2 FL by Richardson, awesome game by Charles, KC wins 30-20.

That sucks!!!!

Not rooting for either team, but to have the one of the biggest weapons in the league go down on their first drive... ####!!!

Hope he's okay.

Anybody see that one colt wave his arms in a "he's out!" gesture? Pretty classless... I'm rooting for Indy but I like Charles. Hope he's ok.

So far I've seen Toler celebrate Charles getting hurt and the Colts fans applaud when Charles was heading to the locker room. Real classy Indy.
