Kansas City Defense (1 Viewer)

I think that they are decent. I would take Houston or Tennessee over them. They are probably available on the WW as well.

With the return of Jared Allen they are much improved. His presence will help Hali on the other end. Then with Derrick Johnson, Nap Harris, and Donnie Edwards...that is a great LB corps! Donnie can cover the flats with the best of them. Then you have two young, attacking, play-making safeties in Pollard and Page roaming the middle of the field. The only weak spot to me is the corners in Surtain and Law...way too old to be playing on the island because they have lost too much of what they used to be. The D-line is respectable with the rotation they have.

Herm is a defensive minded coach and is building a nice looking unit.

They are in the top 5 in the NFL as far as yards/points against I believe.

I'm buying.

My main concern would be with the age of their two starting cornerbacks (Surtain and Law) and the ineptitude of the KC offense.

But just like the previous poster said, their pass rush and linebacker corps are pretty good.

For once in a very long time, they are getting pressure from their front 4. Over the past 5 or 6 years, they have had to blitz to get QB pressure... and yes, the CB's have lost a step... too bad we didnt have them in their prime's!!

I'm buying as well but I need to add that if we think that KC is a top 10 DEF then what ADP did last week was really special against a top 10 DEF.

As it relates to FF, I was choosing between KC and TB for a second DEF. I went with TB because KC seemingly has a tougher schedule with IND, CIN, DET, DEN x2, SD x2.

Yep. That was the first RB they allowed 100 yards to at home in like 3 years or more. He deserves his props.
