Destroyed the music industry? Hasn't the internet opened up access for all music and not just the ones deemed good by record companies?

And doesn't Kanye have the most grammys of anyone ever? That's a better sign of the destruction of the music industry.

3D printing in this application is silly, but let's just say 3D printing represents the ability of people to make their own goods, or at least de-centralize the means of production.

In the fashion industry, all you really need to produce goods is a sewing machine...that's it. Fabric is readily available, if you want different stuff, fabric can be easily dyed. Srwing skills can be pretty easily learned, and basic patterns have been readily available for years.

People already have the ability to make their own clothing. Simplifying that process doesn't mean everyone is suddenly a designer.

"celebrity" licenses his name out to fashion company who makes the "celebrity" line. celebrity has next to nothing to do with this- other than getting paid, and maybe checking in on what the designers and entire fashion company are doing a couple of times. celebrity then convinces themselves they are a fashion designer and know... things.
