Karl Dorrell to the Raiders (1 Viewer)

Got an inside scoop today that Dorrell is near the top of Al's list of candidates, even tho no one in the press knows about it yet.It definitely would fit the Davis mold...- offensive minded- cheap- young and ready to be a puppet- against the grain of consensus thinkingAs a Raider fan and a UCLA alum, I've got just one word in response -UGH!

Things must be pretty tough when guys like Dorrell are on the radar for NFL coaching jobs. The 2005 SC/UCLA game may have been the worst coached that I have ever seen. Talk about a team that simply did not show up. Not to mention the awful play calling. Karl needs to be a bit more seasoned before he makes the leap to Sunday.

Or Al Davis could be making the decisions. :wall: I doubt Dorrell is on any other team's radar.

A perfect fit for Davis' Raiders. CHEAP!

That's all he ever gets. The last coach to ask for a raise was sent to the other side of the U.S. to win a Super Bowl.

Baskin Robbins. Or maybe Barrett Robbins.

One of my bosses is a huge fan and close friend of the team trainer.
I had a dream last night that Bill Parcells was at our house during a Week 15 bye drinking beer and watching football and I asked him if the Cowboys were gonna take a shot at T.O. He said, "We might take a shot at him." But then I couldn't say anything to anyone because Bill would have known who the leak was. Anyways, thanks for the tip! Great info. Although if it's true I feel sorry for the Raiders with everything that's been written here.

As much as Al Davis likes winning, you'd think he wouldn't mind spending a little dough to do it. But which does he like more, money or wins? Not much of a Raiders cognosenti.

How would a team trainer have an in on personnel moves?
Well it's common knowledge that when making personnel moves, Al Davis always consults the team trainer. How else do you think we ended up with Norv?Seriously, this information is coming through a game of telephone. Al talks to one of his top guys. That guy talks to someone slightly lower than him, he talks to someone lower than him, he talks to the trainer, he talks to this guy's boss, the boss tells him, he posts it here.
