Kaz Matsui Anal Fissure (1 Viewer)

From rotoworld:

Kaz Matsui will miss four to five days with an anal fissure.

That's an unnatural tear or crack in the ###### skin, for those of you not in the know. Matsui is expected to be out until at least Friday. Anal fissures can become chronic problems, but the Astros hope using a different medication will sooth Matsui's issue.

Is it just me or is this like Kaz Tadano all over again?

Don't let this news discourage you. Draft with confidence. My medical experts have informed me you get these from running too fast. Matsui is really letting it rip in ST (no pun intended). I'd say Matsui is probably about the 3rd or 4th second baseman to be drafted, I project him to hit .275 (.350 OBP), hit 12 hr's, score 115 runs and steal no less than 40 bases.

I agree he's a decent sleeper. He's always had an excellent SB% and Coop will probably give him the green light in Houston. Guru's HR projection may be a stretch. He has 17 for his career in over 1500 PAs.

Just getting warmed up! I have done a statistical analysis (no pun intended) on his fly ball outs over the past 4 years. His average fly out to left field is 343.3 ft, sea level adjusted. That's prime Crawford box territory right there. I may have UNDERstated his home run projection.Oh, if anybody reading any of this believe this bs, you're

from rotoworld.....

Kazuo Matsui will undergo surgery on Monday to repair an anal fissure.

He needs this taken care of once and for all so we never have to think about it again. Matsui is expected to miss about two weeks, meaning he's probably not going to be ready for Opening Day. Mark Loretta and Geoff Blum could spend the first week filling in for him. Mar. 14 - 7:01 pm et
