Keep getting emails from Quickbooks for transactions I'm not involved in, but they refuse to remove me. And I can't find the biz to call them and remo (1 Viewer)

This has been going on over a year now and I'm tired of it, so after 1 1/2 hours on the horn with QB, I of course got nowhere.  They will not give out any info or contact this business to get my email removed.  And since all the emails come from QB, I'm unable to reply to the person/company.

The name of the company is:

Rita J Inc

I did get the agent to tell me the city, so that should help quite a bit.  CHICAGO.

So for those on here that are great at sussing things out, I thought this little puzzle might be fun.  I did do a basic Google search and the first couple of numbers I tried were either disconnected or closed already.

And yeah, I know I can block QB, but I'd also prefer not to have my primary email still linked and I would also have to change some things.  I have a TurboTax account with that email, which is QuickBooks owned.  And just the OCD in me is not wanting to be linked to whoever Rita J is.

If it helps, the transactions are sporadic, never daily, and range from 50 bucks to 1500 but most often somewhere in the lower-middle of that.  Hard to figure out what ol' Rita's is up to these days.  Wedding arrangements?   Fortune teller, lol?  Can't be full-time, whatever it is, must be a side-hustle.

Awesome.  Thanks Chem X!  This place is amazing.  It's bugged me for a year and after an 1 1/2 phone call today, and previous, weak attempts over the months, I got nothing.  Frustrating, and I tend to just throw in the towel.  I was being led to a Rita J in Texas (Googling), among other places, and that would've been another dead-end.

Yet you did it for me in 10 minutes, so great, thanks again.  Will update tomorrow.

Called yesterday and you were right it's a museum (Lithuanian) and seemed to get somewhere with whomever answered (they knew her) but nothing since.  Emails (transactions) continue to come through to me but maybe she hasn't got to it yet.

What I would like to get is her email.  May call back today.

I feel for ya.  I had a similar problem a few years ago where my Gmail address was mistakenly associated with someone else's account with ATT I think.  I kept getting emails and texts and I called ATT and they said that due to privacy concerns they couldn't connect me with the account holder and since I couldn't answer any of the account holder's security questions (Duh!) that they couldn't remove/update my email address from their account.  It was a complete PITA and waste of time.  After exhausting all options I could think of, I finally just gave up and blocked everything.
