Keep Howard (11th) or Thielen (13th) (1 Viewer)

I'm in a non-ppr, 14 team, 2 keepers for max 2 seasons at the round drafted.  We also have fixed roster spots (2 QB, 4 RB, 4 WR, 2 TE, 2 DEF, 2 K).  Starting line-up (1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 DEF, 1 K).

I'm picking 7th and have Melvin Gordon as a keeper in the 2nd for this season only.  My other keeper choices are:

- Jordan Howard (10th, last season)

- Adam Thielen (13th, 2 seasons)

- Rex Burkhead (16th, 2 seasons)

Currently leaning Howard

In a 14 team league there is not much difference between a 10th round pick and a 16th round pick, let alone the difference between a 10th and a 13th.

I personally love Burkhead for this year, but don't have a great feeling about his future.

So you are looking at 2 seasons of Thielen versus one of Howard.

Current ADP gives Howard (#23) an eight slot advantage over Thielen at #31.

Its close, but I lean towards thielen because you are already losing your other keeper next year in Gordon.  I prefer to have 2 year keepers alternate years rather than have them both expire the same year.

Thanks.  Those are good points to consider.   I think it's still hard to decide.   I was originally set on Burkhead and Thielen, but the Gordon option came about after the draft order was set.
