Keepers get "drafted" 1 draft position up from where they were drafted in previous season

I am keeping Garrett Wilson as an 8th round pick

I have the following options for 2nd pick:
- Breece Hall as 2nd round pick
- Rachaad White as 11th round pick
- Trey McBride as 15th round pick

Debating between Rachaad White for better value this season (RB's go quick) and Trey McBride for more longevity and overall value long term. Thoughts? Anything else to consider?

Do you know your draft slot?
Yeah, I'm 11th, so then R2P2, R3P11, etc.
All I know is that when I'm driving and listening to the Sirius XM guys answer keeper questions, they typically say to take the best players regardless of what round they're in.

I'd say mock the first round and see who you get at 11 and 14 with Breece not being kept. Then do it again and see who you get at 11 and Breece at 14. If you're happy enough with who is there in that first scenario, then throw back Breece and take McBride. If not, keep Breece. You can always reach for McBride in the draft and make sure you get all three.

That few keepers just pick the best players. That is Hall out of those guys by a long shot. Easy choice.

Appreciate all the advice here. I was thinking future seasons but no doubt Hall is a value at that pick.

This was my thought. While I agree that when in doubt, always go with the best player(s), but the value of McBride is also great. I'd try a few mocks and see which RB's fall to you at 1.11 / 2.2. Or as jayt posted above, just keep Breece and reach for McBride.

Take a look at my keeper question if you have a chance:

Breece. I thought for a second about McBride because it’s basically free for a 15th but getting one of the elite players is worth more especially because you still get a 1st rd pick. Sucks to lose an early 2nd but just think about getting him with that pick. You’d be ecstatic so it’s totally worth it.

I was able to trade 2nd (end up getting breece as R2P11) and 3rd round picks (get next pick at R3P2--9 picks earlier) so heading that direction. Advice here helped me seek that out. Thanks!
