Keeper advice: Lacy, Charles, ABrown, Gronk? (1 Viewer)

In a standard PPR , bonuses for 300 yds passing & 100 yds rushing/receiving.

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 superflex.

We can keep 2 players, losing the round they were drafted in the previous year.

I know it's early, but I'm already thinking to our draft this August. I've got 4 potential candidates:

1) J Charles. He'd cost me a 2nd rounder, but he's a high. 1st-round choice.

2) E Lacy. He's a 1st/2nd rounder who would only cost me a 6th rounder. I like this value, but I've been burned by 2nd-year RBs in Forte & Martin before.

3) Antonio Brown. PPR stud, would only cost me a 5th rounder. WRs are more easily attainable, but this is a good value.

4) Gronk. Arguably the 2nd best TE, would only cost a 4th round pick. Obviously health will determine this, but it sounds positive so far. I'm not buying that he's fragile, and this would be a great value keeper if he puts in 14-16 games.

So which 2 would you keep and why? If you've got a question leave your link and I'll return the favor. Thanks!

Superflex is a spot where any offensive player is an option, including QBs. I normally try to start 2 QBs each week if I can.

And am I missing something? Graham and Alex Smith? Is there an inside joke I'm on the outside of? Umm, thanks for the replies though!

what's a superflex?
I totally agree The best bet is to keep one Superflex This allows for an extra pick in the draft!

If the guys seem upset that you must keep two? I suggest keeping a kicker, so the last rnd pick doesn't effect your choices

Good Luck n Please keep us posted

I would go Charles and lacy. Allows you to pretty much have your backfield set up in advance, lacy is good value for what you lose in draft pick and Charles is the best combo of high upside/safe pick among him, gronk, and brown.

I think brown is the biggest candidate of those three to fall the most. Gronk is the biggest positional advantage when he's on but the injuries and the relatively high 4th he costs you makes me pass. That leaves Charles who is arguably the top 1-3 RB in the game in ppr so really hard to let him go. By any other comparable name, is it likely anyone is turning loose shady or Peterson? Likely not.

Crap...I do know better. Hurried to post on my mobile and didn't pay attention to the forum I selected. Thought it was devoid of FF threads because we were in the offseason. My bad, I take full responsibility.
