Keeper Auction League Opening on MFL (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm looking for two more owners to conduct a three team dispersal draft for UFFL I, a keeper auction league heading into it's 31st year (24th as a keeper league).

Players available to be drafted include Bo Nix, Kyler Murray, Bijan Robinson, Christian McCaffrey, Joe Mixon, Alvin Kamara, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Bown, Nico Collins, Tee Higgins, Chris Olave, Cooper Kupp, Jaylen Waddle, Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and Tucker Kraft.

- each team keeps 3-5 players
- "live" auction on August 17
- $200 soft salary cap (auction only)
- PPR (0.7, 1.0, 1.3)
- five different starting lineup formations
- H2H, 14 week regular season
- 6 team playoff weeks 15-17
- blind bidding waivers
- $58 entry fee (discounted) + $15 refundable franchise fee (discounted) = $73
- 100% payout minus hosting cost

I am interested but have a quick question after looking through the league rules....

If the salary cap/salaries are only for auction draft purposes, and teams can go over the cap during the season, how does the increase kept players' salaries come into effect? I see their salaries increase if they are kept or franchised. But if your 3-5 kept players' salaries are huge, how does that "hurt" you in building your team if you can go over your cap?
