Keeper help - 2 QB league (1 Viewer)

bigcorn

Footballguy
Struggling with who to keep this year. Struck gold with later round picks (before they became studs) of Mahomes and Lamar Jackson but typically would never keep a QB (let a lone 2).

No restrictions on the keepers ( Lost round, salary cap, years available to keep).

10 team - PPR - Can keep a max of 4 players

start:

2 QBs

2 RBs

4 WRs

1 TE

1 Flex

Have to decide from Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, McCaffery, Saquon Barkley, Kelce.

Leaning towards dropping Kelce or one of the QBs.

Thanks for any help.

I agree with the rest of them.  In a 2 QB league there is no way I would ever drop those QB's and having those two RB's gives you such a weekly advantage.  Try and trade Kelce for picks as you don't need any upgrades of those keepers.

can't trade a player for picks, i don't think anyway. Since we start 4 WRs (5 with flex) i considered trying to package Kelce and one of the QBs for an elite WR (Thomas, Adams, etc.)

feel like i am overpaying but Im kind of forced to go all WRs in the draft by keeping 2 QBs and 2RBs. Hate passing on quality RBs in rounds 4-6 just because i need to fill out my WRs.

I’m trying to be as nice as possible....if you trade either of those QBs, I have to question your intelligence.

Don't trade Kelce and a QB for a WR.  You will regret it.  You can cobble a WR corps that will be serviceable.  You also don't have to pass good RB value in the draft since you can start 3.  Starters are starters.

I'm keeping the two QBs and the two RBs...  and don't look back.  As Gally states, don't pass on valued talent, no matter what position.  If the RB is valued over the WRs, pick the RB.  Who cares what round it is.  go with the valued player in each round.

It's 10 teams and it's PPR. There will be WRs available in the draft, the same can not be said about RBs and QBs, at least not at the talent levels you have.

You are coming in with such a strong advantage with those 4 keepers that even if a guy like say Keenan Allen, Lockett, Sutton etc. is your WR1, you will be fine compared to the other teams who will be looking at drafting the Ingrams and Singletarys in the same range as their RB1

This!

You have the top 2 RBs and the top 2 QBs!   They are all top 5 overall selections.  Based on what I see, you're going to have a 20-25 pt edge over an average opponent in a 10 teamer at the QB/RB slots.  You will have no issues drafting 4 serviceable WRs and a TE.
