keeper league dispute (1 Viewer)

One of my 12 team leagues voted on and agreed to go to a 2 person keeper league. The first year we were able to keep 1 player from out old roster. The second year of the keeper league we would be able to keep 2 players. Now they changed it back to 1 player just because of my team. I have won the league 3 straight years and my keeper was Stephen Alexander. I was lucky enough to draft Larry johnson last year in the 6th round. Of course I would keep him too as my 2nd keeper. Now many of the members are agaist a 2nd keeper just because of me! The Commish is buying there argument......If that happens who do I keep? Larry Johnson or Alexander????

Do your league rules allow for changing of the rules for the upcoming season?

Rule changes should not be submitted to impact the current year without 100% league agreement and acceptance.

Proposal of new rules should impact the following season to allow all owners the opportunity to adjust their plans to accommodate the new rules.

Installing new rules to fit the minority (or the loudest squeeky owner) will cause the downfall of the league.

Seems like you can beat these guys either way. Changing the rules seems unfair, but it seems like they are destined to lose anyway.

If rule changes do not have to be unanimous, you are out of luck. Your options are go along with it or walk. As I said, you look like the head of the class, so it may not matter much.

I've gone through this in leagues myself, and rules were changed and changed back, and new provisions added, etc. Very similar situation, and I either won the league or at a minimum went to the Super Bowl no matter what they came up with.

:goodposting: All rule changes in my league go in effect the following year. Not the up coming year.

All major rule changes changes should be adopted this way.
