Keeper league help/Trade offer (1 Viewer)

Play in a 12-team keeper league. We start QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, 2 Flex (WR/RB/TE), K, and DEF and 7 bench spots. It's a .5 PPR league and 4 pts. per TD (QB) and 6 pts. for TD for other offensive positions. We can keep anywhere from 4 to 6 keepers each year. You aren't penalized or lose a round from where you drafted them the previous year. The 5th round (since first 4 keepers account for rounds 1-4) is the first round where picks occur. If you keep 5 keepers, then you don't draft until the 6th round); and if you keep 6 keepers, then your first pick occurs in the 7th round.

My roster and draft pick rounds are as follows:

QB: Russell Wilson, RB: Eddie Lacy, LeGarrette Blount, Doug Martin, Mark Ingram, Duke Johnson, Jay Ajayi; WR: Tyreek Hill, Kelvin Benjamin, Brandin Cooks, Alshon Jeffery, Martavis Bryant, Marquise Lee, DeVante Parker; TE: Hunter Henry; K: Cairo Santos; DEF: Cowboys

Picks (after trades) by round: 7th, 9th, 10th, 10th (via trade), 12th, 12th (via trade), 13, 14, 14 (via trade), 15, 16, 17, 17 (via trade)

Since I don't have picks in rounds 5 or 6, then I can only keep 4 and then I don't pick until the 7th round. So there are a couple of offers being entertained that allow me to move up a bit in terms of picks:

Scenario 1: Would offer Mark Ingram, Tyreek Hill, my 7th round pick, and my 9th round pick for other team's 6th round and 8th round picks

Scenario 2 (3-team trade): Would offer Mark Ingram, Tyreek Hill, Brandin Cooks, my 7th and receive a 5th, 6th, and 10th round picks

Would still probably keep only 4 but now this allows me to draft in early rounds. Would keep Ajayi, Jeffery at least and am not sure for last 2 picks. Teams don't really hold onto QBs and throw them back into the draft and so I'm okay with letting Wilson go if need be. All of the running backs on my RB (other than Ajayi) have huge question marks but it makes sense to me to hang on to them for depth and see what RBs are available early in the draft so I can stockpile at that position. Just some thoughts but any advice is welcome!

I don't like either deal, especially the 2nd one.  I wouldn't bother with anything along the lines of the 2nd deal.  I would counter the first deal by offering Ingram and Hill for a 7th round pick.  You give a legit keeper in Hill and you get a pick back.  It's simple and fair for both teams IMO.  Hill is worth more than the pick in general since he is going in the 5th round or so in startup drafts, but due to the keeper rules it works for both teams.  I would then keep Ajayi, Cooks, Jeffrey and probably Parker.

Thanks. The more I look at the 2nd deal, the more I think keeping Cooks works better for my team. I just hate losing out to being able to pick up some of the top rookies this year that I like in those early rounds with Mixon and Corey Davis.

Another option is to offer Hill (and Ingram if he wants him) and a pick (such as your 8th round pick) for the other team's 5th round pick so you can get one of the top rookies.  You don't get an extra pick, which would be nice since you gave up 2 picks already, but getting a top rookie has value too.

For which offer? #1 or #2? I'm assuming #1. And I don't have an 8th round pick (it was traded away). My earliest picks are in the 7th and 9th rounds.

Give whatever pick you think is the right value.  The point is to use Hill to upgrade to a 5th round pick so you can get one of the top rookies.

I offered Hill, Ingram, my 10th, and a 17th rounder for her 6th and 8th rounder. We'll see where this goes.
