I've been offered a team in a league of 10 owners. 3 of the teams are stacked, and one of them is just sick (Cutler, SJax, MJD, Turner, Fitz, Smith (car), Welker, Thomas (no) Gonzo, IDP - Allen (min), Willis (sf).

The team I would inherit is as follows:

Warner, Cassel, Delhomme

Peterson (min), White, Jones (dal), Taylor (min)

Edwards, Royal, Wayne

Scheffler, Miller (oak)

Gould

IDP - Jackson (cle), Mayo (ne), Peppers (car)

Starters are 1 QB, 5 RBs or WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 3 IDP

We have to keep at least 5 and up to 10. The less we keep the earlier we draft.

Standard scoring (pass td 4, 20yds per 1, rush/rec td 6, 10yds per 1) IDP - 3 FF, 4 int, 1 defl, 4 sack, 1 tak, 1 per 25yds spt or int-ret

Buy in is $100 - is this a team worth owning or should I just wait for a league to open from scratch?

Usually when I see these type of threads being are being asked to join the first year at full entry fee for "poop on a stick". If you keep just Peterson, Wayne, edwards, Mayo and Peppers, I think you have a decent base in joining this league (I don't know much about IDP, but they seem decent). Sure, you will not have a "stacked team", but at least you have decent base...real question now is if all things equal do you want ot be in the league with these guys?
