Hey guys,

Trying to make a keeper decision. I can keep Lamar Jackson for an 8th, or Zeke for a 1st. I'm picking 9th, so the only reason this is a question is because I'm worried that I will be left with RB's that I will be unhappy with in the 1st/2nd if I don't keep Zeke. This is a half ppr league, QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/Flex/Flex/DST. Passing TD's are 4 points.

Let me know your thoughts.

How many keepers do you get?  If it's one per team I treat it like a redraft and just keep the best guy.....

If you are worried about who might be there at 1.09 do a mock based on who you think is going to be kept and see what might be there in the first round.

How many players are kept? How shallow will the pickings be by 9? Without knowing who or how many are kept, I would probably pick Jackson still, just due to the value of having him as a later mid round pick. I do not see a big difference in point projections between the options, but I think I would give a slight bump to Jackson and someone like Kenyan Drake, Aaron Jones, or Miles Sanders compared to Elliot and someone like Wentz, Ryan, or Stafford. If anything I think 4 point passing TDs benefit Jackson since it gives his rushing even more value compared to the QBs I listed as examples of who would possibly be around in the 8th round. With that said, as I mentioned a few sentences ago I think it is very close, so neither option is really "wrong".

Yeah it’s 1 per team. I agree that I don’t think there is a wrong choice here. I have done quite a few mocks, and I can usually get Chubb or Mixon towards the end of the first.

Keep Jackson. He will buy you a ton of margin over your league mates. 
 

Take two backs at the turn. Drake and Mixon for example. Plenty of WR depth to wait a little.

Have you determined if a team will be keeping a 1st rounder?  and again, how many teams?    and what players does the team with the first pick have?   TAKE BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE and don't get trapped into a certain position.

Not knowing a few things, I will project that McCaffrey, Barkley will be kept, especially if these players are on teams that have a late 1st round pick.  My gut says Thomas will be kept also.
