I love Irvin. Guy is a clown, but I love it. He cracks me up, and still talks about football. Could be because I'm a huge Cowboys fan though, although I like all the NFL morning crew.

I only wish Boomer had gone on longer during the Week 1 late Monday night game about how the NFL is a leader on domestic abuse not only for the sports world but for the entire culture. What political stories has he covered that are not sports related? Redskins name, Ray Rice and ADP are all sports stories even though they have political overtones.

I love the guy. Extremely smart and one of the most articulate talking heads not only in sports, but in all of television. I can understand why those opposed to his views hate him so much. Yeah, it's not sports, it's politics. Whatever, I'm not going to watch it, that's my take. It's not good for sports which is why I bring it up. It's this new, dramatized reality/political aspect of sports that I'm just not into. I would rather actually watch sports or intelligently discuss them. It's people like him that have made this NFL season less fun.

It's great for sports (as a check to the pathetic world of sports "reporting" and other mimic the party line media) and it's even better entertainment.
