Kelvin Sheppard LB Bills (1 Viewer)

I like Kelvin Sheppards upside. I think Andre Davis is getting old. So I thought now was the best time to buy on Kelvin Sheppard ILB Bills. I traded Jameel McClain and Jackie Battle RB for Kelvin Sheppard in a 32 team dynasty league. What are people's thoughts on this Kelvin Sheppard's Dynasty outlook. He has 2 games now back to back with 3 tackles. I know that isn't much. But I think he is starting to split snap counts with Andre Davis. Does anyone know the snap count between Kelvin Sheppard and Andre Davis at ILB?? Is there a place to find this info?

Thanks in advance.

Interesting...Here's the text from the original source.

It wouldn't be surprising to see rookie Kelvin Sheppard start at inside linebacker in the Bills' next game against Washington.

Sheppard received the bulk of the reps ahead of veteran Andra Davis, who played sparingly after missing his gap assignment on Bradshaw's 1-yard TD run in the first quarter.

"I played a fairly good game but personally I feel I can play better," said Sheppard, who finished with three tackles. "I'm going to watch the film as soon as I get on the plane to see what I can correct. Whenever we have a loss, and me being a linebacker I take it personal, I look at what I can do better first and foremost."
Sheppard had started to see a few rotational snaps in Week 5 -- less than 10 according to PFF. Watching the game this morning, that was continuing yesterday in the first quarter. Sheppard was on the field often during the first two series -- well before the Bradshaw TD run -- and in a mix of packages (both a rare two ILB nickel snap and some base 3-4 snaps). Davis seeing lots of base defensive snaps, too. The bulk of the third quarter snaps were Sheppard's in the base defense, but Bryan Scott played most of the subpackage snaps in the late third and throughout the fourth. I thought Sheppard looked good. He moved his feet well, showed pretty good range and got himself to the ball often.Davis just hasn't been the same player this year. How much of that is because he's been on the sidelines for 90% of the game with the Bills very rarely playing a base package is debatable, but it looks like the Bills are ready to move on.

Very good sign that they were willing to use Sheppard in those few nickel snaps, though.

Bills coach Chan Gailey confirmed Monday that rookie ILB Kelvin Sheppard will be a starter moving forward.

Gailey confirmed Sheppard will begin taking the "majority of reps" at the position, replacing Andra Davis. Davis wasn't getting it done on the interior, and Sheppard has flashed in limited snaps so far. He has 10 tackles on the season, but will be a candidate for 6-8 per week moving forward.

What is value of Sheppard after moving into starting lineup? Will he be every down LB?
