Kendall Hunter (1 Viewer)

Get him in your line up. In response to the Brandon Jacobs thread, it is going to be Hunter with the big week. I see no way Buffalo hangs around with SF this week. Noodle armed QB against this defense just isn't going to get it done. I full expect 100 total yards and a touchdown out of Hunter in the 2nd half. In a league where I own F-Jax, Spiller and Hunter, F-Jax is the odd man out.

IN ....before the thread police berate you and then come find you at your house and rough you up, I do agree with you though.

I'm a huge Hunter advocate, huge but he very rarely sees more than 10 touches, blow-out or not. To reach 100 total yards he'd need to break off a big one. BUF is allowing the 6th most points to RBs in the league yeah, I just don't know how comfortable I'd be starting him when he's far from guaranteed enough touches. I'd start him over the likes of P.Thomas or JStew, others who share carries.

If jacobs is active I would stay away from Hunter. No doubt if the 49's get up big, they want to see what they have in Jacobs, they know what Hunter can do. Jacobs is the better start, if active

If the patriots can produce two hundred yard rushers against the bills, i'm fairly confident San Francisco will
One game doesn't tell the full story. NE piled on 52 points, I can't imagine SF doing the same. Also, BUF held Richardson to 27 yards on 12 carries. Richardson has more talent than Bolden and Ridley combined. Banking on a blow-out in order for your fantasy play to get touches isn't the best of strategies.

Buffalo dared NE to run into a nickel and dime. They will not do the same with SF against the likes of Alex Smith.I wouldn't expect the same results with Hunter, but he should have his opportunities.KY

We can only start 2 rb's. I have Gore & Hunter to back him up. I think Gore might do some damage in the 1st half and see his carries diminish some but not sure about putting Hunter in since I have Alfred Morris. They'll keep Hunter busy to keep him in shape but I think the back half of the season is when you'll see Hunter getting more carries. I could be wrong as they surely want Gore healthy all year and if he show any signs of problems Hunter gets on the field. Just can't bank on that happening on a consistant basis but I do like Hunters upside, but yeah with N.E. getting 2 100 yd. rushers Hunter wouldn't be a bad flex play but our league doesn't have that. I have him in a couple ESPN leagues I might put him is as flex.

It's hard to pull the trigger on Hunter.

I'm rolling with a less-than-100% Spiller versus a nasty San Fran D versus the counter option of a 100% Hunter versus a lapdog Buffalo D.

Let's face it... we all took flyers on Hunter in the event that he'd be useful if Gore played poorly or got hurt. And that hasn't happened yet.

Instead he's looked better than he has the past two seasons. And now old man Jacobs is around to steal goal-line touches.

It's not a good situation. And if we can't play Hunter on a week with byes with a dream matchup like this one... well, we're probably not going to do much with him.

He's insurance.

Yeah, hard to do.The Niners have won 3 fairly lop-sided games already, and Hunter still hasn't reached 10 total touches in any game.

Maybe he goes off here, but it's hard to call it.

Not that he's a terrible option for many in a bye-week crunch. I just don't expect too much.

 I love Hunter, but it's not his time. Yet.

Total number of times it has been predicted that a backup RB would score lots of fantasy points because his team would build a large lead: 1 zillion

Total number of times that it actually happened: 17
