He played a little in the last preseason game. I think he is worth a spot as a weak 3rd or a 4th linebacker. He has the talent to be a number 1 (all though he is the WLB IIRC - which may drop him to a number 2) as long as he stays healthy and that is the gamble. I have him on my dynasty and am starting him this week. We shall see.

Last I heard from the Chiefs they had not decided how much they will play him in the first game ... I am sitting him for Bockwoldt this first week to see what happens ...
 
I owned Bell for 2 years. What I learned by the end of the second year was to start him only after he finishes a prior game healthy. There were way too many questionables that turned into DNP's.If he's on the injury report, sit him.

After some other advice - I've decided to sit him and start Beisel instead and see how he does.
