Kenny Britt coming back soon? (1 Viewer)

I heard Kenny Britt was starting to run. So it sounds like he might still come back this year. But how soon? TEN has the best schedule for receivers for the rest of the year.

Week 11: Was (31st)

Week 12: @Hou (30th)

Week 13: Jac (32nd)

Week 14: Ind (15th)

Week 15: Hou (30th)

Week 16: @KC (19th)

I know he's available in both my leagues. So he's prolly available in a lot of smaller leagues (10).

Edit: (adding yahoo's note)

Britt said that he is seeing signs of progress as he recovers from the hamstring injury he suffered Oct. 31, the Tennessean reports. "This was really my first day where they had me moving around in the training room," Britt said Wednesday. "They had me running on the treadmill and in the water. I don’t want to put too much pressure on my leg right now, but I’m looking a little more mobile."

Recommendation: That's encouraging, but while Britt has not been officially ruled out, it certainly doesn't appear as though he has much of a shot at playing Sunday against the Redskins.

Anyone have an estimated timetable on his return? Its been 3 weeks since the injury.

Thinking he suits up by week14 at the latest?

I think the addition of Randy Moss is going to be extremely helpful for Britt in a week or 2.

The primary CB is going to be on Moss on every play and the closest safety is going to have one eye on him as well - no one likes to be on the Randy Moss highlight show on ESPN.

Britt Works Out Thursday

Britt Works Out Thursday

Staff Report November 18, 2010

Wide receiver Kenny Britt worked out on Thursday at Baptist Sports Park, and Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said he is improving and that his injury is getting better. Although the receiver is making strides, he is still not participating in practice. Britt has been out since suffering a hamstring injury in the Titans loss to San Diego in week eight.

It's looking more and more like week 14

Kenny Britt (hamstring) worked mostly with the scout team in Thursday's practice.

It's an indication that the Titans are not counting on him to be ready for the Jaguars this week. Week 14 is a much more reasonable target date for Britt's return to game action. Pick him up he's been dropped in your league.
