Kenny Britt WILL be a #1 WR in 2014 (1 Viewer)

Dez did it. So did Gordon. Both are equally as dumb and only slightly more talented.
They've done it with one team and they don't have Britt's injury history.
I've got him in a bunch of dynasty leagues and this is my big concern -- he just flat out hasn't been the same guy on the field since the multiple knee surgeries. The dumb off field stuff is no big deal IMO -- if a guy can play he'll be out there. But I don't know if Britt can play anymore. Holding (rather than selling for a pittance or cutting him, anyway) and hoping for the best, while fully expecting to go down with the ship as he fades into obscurity...
This is my opinion, too. 2011 Kenny Britt was phenomenal. I hope we see him again some day, because we certainly haven't seen him since.

In the one ten team league I play in, which is a partial keeper league with 180 total players rostered- he's on waivers.

One league does not a trend make, but at this point, he's not in my early top 200 overall.

Britt has made one exceptional half-season turn into a unjustified 4 year fascination among many ff players. He's injury riddled, makes terrible off the field decisions, and has no consistency.

If you feel differently, that's cool. I'm just a big believer.
It wasn't just one half season, though. Kenny Britt basically played three healthy stretches of about 4 games each between 2010 and 2011. And he ranked among the top 5 in ALL THREE OF THEM. Only Calvin Johnson averaged more fantasy points over those two years. Kenny Britt did it with a third of his games coming with Kerry Collins, a third coming with Matt Hasselbeck, and a third coming with Vince Young. 2010-2011 Kenny Britt was absolutely worth the hype. The fascination was totally justified.

Of course, he hasn't been the same since his injuries, and if he can't regain his form, he'll wind up being a huge bust for those who gambled on him. That doesn't mean it wasn't smart to gamble on him in the first place. If gambles paid off every time- even smart gambles- then they wouldn't be "gambles".

Good quote. Much like "If a short-cut was easy, it wouldn't be a short-cut, it would just be THE WAY"

Last year in a startup I took this idiot in the top 30. Oh well.
