Kenny Britt (1 Viewer)

If Goodell is taking the stance that the league can suspend players for actions during the lockout, I don't know what he's waiting for. Teams should know what players are going to be out and when so that they can plan accordingly. I think it's bull#### if Goodell waits until shortly before the season starts to announce suspensions.

NFLPA VP George Atellah said a few weeks ago when the CBA was finalizing that there is no way the NFL could suspend any players for actions committed while they were locked out. He said that was one thing he said they would fight for. I don't have a link because it was from his twitter account.

as much as he needs it, I doubt that it'll happen. It would be no different than the NFL suspending a draftee imo. At the time the crimes (or whatever you want to call them) the players were unemployed. However, I'm sure the next time Britt gets in trouble it'll be harsh.

I don't know if it's necessary. I mean the guy really went round and round with the law this offseason and had to get a so called rude awakening. I don't think a suspension would have any further effect upon him.

I'm not advocating anything here, now though...it is what it is.

Britt oozes talent at the WR position but he has been held back by injuries and off the field distractions. Now with Hasslebeck at QB and the Chris Johnson holdout, it appears that there still could be inhibiting factors to Britt's ascension as one of the NFL's premiere wide receivers. He has shown glimpses of his potential, but I fear that there are circumstances too strong to keep him on a trajectory of elite performance.

If you go to the Titans website, there is an interview with Britt. He talks about practicing etc. Does not seem like any injury is holding him back. There is a pic of him catching the ball in practice too.

There is also an interview with the head coach who says the following:

(on Kenny Britt’s return to full-practice)

This week, the plan is to get him more into the offense; doing more things to slowly get him into more periods to see how he reacts everyday. We’ll see how the hamstring feels a day after doing a little more work. He has to get confidence in it so he can really unleash and go full speed. I think he’s getting more comfortable with that, so hopefully as the week goes on, he’ll keep getting better and better.

(on if he thinks Kenny Britt is at full speed)

With any type of injury, you kind of have that little holdback; he’s looking pretty good to me though. I mean, he looks like he’s going full speed to me, but I think he’s got another gear. That’s what makes him different, so hopefully, like I said, he won’t have any more setbacks as we move forward.

Well it will be interesting to see if Atellah is going to get involved with this.Discipline for Kenny Britt is Pending

I just hope this suspension rumor sticks around long enough to keep his ADP from going too high.

Interestingly enough, the NFL did just suspend a draftee for 5 games.

Saw on NFL Network too that the suspension for Britt is pending. Can they announce and get it over with? So we know how much down time to expect?

My draft was tonight. I looked on rotoworld mid draft and saw he wasn't suspended. Guess no one else did, because I stole him at pick #93.

I kept him in one league hoping he wouldn't be suspended at league minimum. This is great news. Now let's just hope he doesn't get shot or stabbed during the season. He's another Brandon Marshall.
