As a concerned Brady owner, would love to hear all the Titans homers chime in. Maybe he's worth a shot, at least he'll be able to throw the ball to the receivers and not their shoes.

As a Titans fan....NO he has no value.

I think he is a good QB, but the passing options in TN just SUCK. Young gets the blame, but he hits a lot of guys square in the hands and those passes are dropped. I think they are better with Collins right now, but he still won't help your fantasy team.

Collins is a grizzled veteran. He'll certainly open up the offense far better than Young could ever dream of doing.

They'll most definitely put more points on the board.

My God, how many times do people have to see the Kerry Collins re-run to get it? Look OK one week, then throw for 150 and 3 picks the next. You have to be in a REALLY big league to consider this guy in anything other than bye weeks.

He's not the running QB that Vince Young, so he'll only probably get about 75 Yards and a TD against my Bengals next week. *sigh*

All kidding aside, if bad stuff like INTs isn't a consideration he's probably worth it as a stopgap next week.

I actually think Cassel is worth the first shot since he gets to play in that offense.

without looking up stats, this doesn't seem so wrong from 2007 season. If you could figure out when his hot games were you'd be sittin' pretty though. Heimerdinger seems far better than Chow-(though I still think "fancy" OC and stripped down O for a young QB didn't mesh and Chow might be OK- so Heimerdinger should put Kerry in a better situation.

What??People still think Young is a viable QB with his horrible TD/INT ratio and 150 yards passing average. Collins is a monstrous upgrade in the passing game for Tennessee. They actually can now scare teams with the run and pass. Solid backup in 10 + team leagues and can start in the right matchup. Far from a bye week filler. If he is a bye week filler, why is Young even playing football?

Out of curiosity, why do you say that? For instance, why not Gage?

Per start, I don't think Gage will improve upon(or maybe even ever duplicate) 700+ yards in 8 starts which he did last year, mostly with Young. Brandon was hurt last year.
