Somebody started a thread in here before the draft about this. There was an unusual amount of "chatter" between the two teams. Turned out it was for the #22 pick.

I did email Adam Schefter about this and he said he didn't think it was a legit rumor. Things could've changed by now, but I doubt it.

The Broncos already tried to trade Lelie to the 49ers, and the Packers, and the Buccaneers. No takers yet.

I can't see the Niners dealing Barlow and allowing a guy who had surgery on both shoulders this offseason (and knees two years before) to carry the load.

No, I don't see Hicks as anything more than a 3-5 carry/game guy at this time.

Hey there, you must be new to FBG's. First off, welcome. I'm glad you could make it! We just have a general rule around here in the Shark Pool. If the only source to a rumor comes from some drunken friend...don't share it with us. Now if you were to find this rumor on some other website, sure, share it with us and we'll have a good ol' fun time.
