Kevin Barlow Prediction (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure bumping this qualifies as being excellent to each other, but it sure is funny as hell.

Missing on FF predictions goes with the game. We all do it, so it's a shared pain - which makes sticking the barbs in so much fun.

Not intended to be insulting or funny. Was just curious to compare hype then with hype now. There are a few other Barlow threads, but this one had the most posts. Barlow was about to finally get a start. If Michael were to get a start I think the collective Shark Pool might have a coronary from the anticipation.

And the results could be the same or diametrically opposite.

Agreed. Regardless I think you'll see several people congratulating themselves on being right and making fun of those that were in any way wrong.

If you play Fantasy Football long enough, you will have your share of Kevan Barlows. For those of us quick to point our finger, let us not forget some of these can't-miss RB prospects: William Green; Laurence Maroney; Rashaan Salaam; Blair Thomas; Curtis Enis; Ki-Jana Carter; Garrison Hearst . . . the list goes on

Something comes to mind...

Something about a proverb, stones, and glass houses...

This Switz guy nailed it and took serious heat. I am sure he had some bad calls somewhere, but he certainly knows football.
:lmao:
Now I am curious. Shoot me some links on this guys fail.
I don't remember the fail but his name will always be associated with his call on Anquan Boldin.

Are you preaching at me?

I think the enormous Michael thread is beyond stupid. I think that, and I'm going to say that. I have no idea what will happen going forward. The amount of speculation in there is ridiculous. I can't think of another similar player that never started a game, and doesn't look to be starting a game in the near future that has had this much buzz. I can't fathom why that is. Are people just that bored that they have to dream up something to discuss? That's the equivalent of shock-jock radio IMO.

(yes no one cares, but.....)

one year in a 2 keeper league i actually kept what i THOUGHT were my 2 best RB's/ players:

Barlow (or as i called him, K-bar) and L.Jordan (when he was Raiders starter)

to no surprise it lead to my worst season EVER (this will be year 20 for me)

:X

Kevan Barlow still makes my stomach churn. I was completely sold on the guy that year and got him everywhere, which led to a painful year in all leagues.

That year he was going to be the starter, traded Barlow along with Ricky Williams to acquire Priest Holmes.

Ricky surprise retired from football three days later.

But the lesson that Kevan Barlow taught ne has helped me avoid other instances of him like TRich.

Yeah, I'm not thankful at all for the championship that TRich helped me win 2 years ago.
Or the one he helped you win last year.

I didn't draft him last year. I know he was pathetic, but he has had a top 10 year under his belt. He's obviously capable.

How ironic... SF just drafted another Barlow with Carlos Hype.
