Kevin Jones or Steven Jackson (1 Viewer)

Although I realize that almost everyone in this forum has already jumped on the Steven Jackson bandwagon, Kevin Jones has proven himself just as likely to finish with great numbers. They have both played the same amount of games, but Steven isnt scoring. The upcoming schedules dont lie either. The Lions have a much etter upcoming schedule than the Rams.

I'm in PPR... in that format I believe KJ has a good chance to finish better than Jackson.
Jackson has 25 catches for 224 yards.Jones has 31 catches for 209 yards.Jackson has 521 rushing yardsJones has 388 rushing yardsI dont think the 5 extra catches for less yards per catch, and far fewer rushing yards (although 2 more TDs but 3 fumbles) equals Jones > Jackson.

Luckily I own both. They scored about the same up to now in our scoring system. As long as both are producing, I don't really care. As to the question, Steven Jackson should finish slightly better than K Jones.

In every format I'd go with Kevin Jones. They are about equal right now depending on your scoring system but I think KJ should show more improvement due to his schedule getting easier and most importantly his O-Line getting stabilized.

I have KJ. I just offered him straight up for Stephen Jackson. The Stephen Jackson owner was insulted. I don't blame him.

Well of course you would say that Kevin. BTW, how many more 8 yard rushing games should we expect from you?
The better question would be is SJax going to be a better second half player than the guy who last year gave his owners games of 6, 24 and 28 rushing yards in the second half last year.
Answer: Because Tory Holt, Isaac Bruce, Mark Bulger, Jamie Martin, and Mike Martz (or Jackson's current HC) will be healthy.

I wouldn't be too worried about that. Different Coaches & offensive game plan, that features the run far more than last year.

Last year in 16 games, SJax only had three games with 20+ carries. This year he has yet to see less than 20 carries in a game.

I think it's highly doubtful that we see SJax with any games like last year, where he might only get 10 or 11 carries.

Well if the player is not responsible for his performance I guess that exonerates KJ's 8 yards game since Roy and 3 OL were out.

Truth is I"m down on SJax because I had him in every league of mine last year and he let me down big time in the stretch. I felt in some of his poor games last year he gave Martz no choice but to abandon the run because Jackson was not consistently gaining yardage.I don't own Jackson in any league this year but I would be concerned about a guy who broke down at the end of the year last year keeping it together especially when he's getting about 27 touches a game.
