Kevin Smith the starter in Detroit again? (1 Viewer)

I never understood why Rudi was ever named the "starter." Maybe to give the appearance that the rookie had to earn his job?
One thing to keep in mind: just watching the playcalling on NFL.com, it seemed to me that they ran the ball a lot today b/c they didn't trust the QBs. People that actually watched the game can weigh in.
Anyway, he looks like a good depth guy to have. I have so little faith in anyone in Detroit not named Calvin Johnson. I don't think I'd start him, even with a great match-up, unless I was really desperate.
Could be a good week to include him in trade offers if you're in a league where you can still trade.
