Kevin Walter Potential? (1 Viewer)

FBG has Kevin Walter rated very low going forward (outside of the top 40 WRs). This surprised me a bit as it seemed that there was a lot of buzz around Walter in pre-season and Schaub's big game last week. Last year Walter finished as the 19th WR, so he would have been a mid-tier WR2. Seems like the Texans offense is more potent this year, so one would think he'd improve on last year's numbers?

Assuming his injury isnt an issue going forward, is there reason to think he can't be a mid-good WR2 from here on out?

Kevin's hammy is obviously a mutha, with bleeding in the muscle. I'd feel better if Walter had an early bye to really get right, but the Texans aren't off until Nov. They'll probably rush him back this wk- and he could walk the hammy tightrope for 3-4 more weeks.

I see the logic in ranking Walter low, looking forward. It's not like he was ever a go-to guy anyway... and Jacoby Jones seems to be on the verge of a mini-breakout.

I am definitely worried about the hammy, as those injuries tend to linger.

Seems like he offers a lot of upside and can be had for dirt cheap though. Redraft not so much.
