Keyshawn (1 Viewer)

I agree. Although I wonder if it's because I'm just so used to hearing the crap that came out of Michael Irvin's mouth. Key is much better than Irvin.

Loved his commentary about Carolina possibly taking Quinn. Honest and sincere considering the fact that it wont affect him much.

I puked a little bit in my mouth when Keyshawn was talking about "character" and then I recalled Keyshawn's benching, suspension and exit in Tampa. Please.

hated when he started off by saying Calvin Johnson is a cross between Randy Moss and himself, but agree he's been good otherwise.

Add me to the "he's pretty good at this" camp.

For any morons who hailed Irvin for his "perspective" as an arrogant WR... we can get the same thing from someone with a brain.

Key > Steve Young
Are FRIGGIN Kidding? Young is awesome on that panel, insightful and brings up some very good points and at least does his homework. Keyshawn is BARELY above Irvin. I mean, come on -- did you hear the BS case he tried to make about Dallas needing to take a wide receiver?? Give me a break. Combine that with him running his mouth about guys with character stuff -- its ridiculous. Meshawn can't carry Young's jock, on or off the field.Throw him off the damn set.

Except that Steve Young made a fool of himself today with that whole "what kind of message does drafting a DT over a WR send to Brett Favre in his last year" thing when everyone knows rookie WRs rarely are useful in year one (IE Favre's last year) so a rookie WR would be more "for the future" than a rookie DT. This especially considering that they don't really even need a WR nearly as badly as many other spots.

Young continues to say dumber and dumber stuff each year, and his hyperbole is actually approaching Salisbury levels. Sorry, but I'm getting tired of this guy fast.

He also had a radio show on Sirius NFL. He's pretty good --- he admits he used to be a real horse's ###, but has grown up over the past few years.

He's a winner with an opinion --- not an egomaniac ala Irvin or the Sharpe brothers.

Carolina just drafted his replacement (maybe sooner, maybe later).

 closely to see how Meshawn handles this...

Keyshawn has been the highlight on ESPN...no NFL Network so I am stuck watching Chris Blowhard Berman...my god man have some self respect and lose 75 lbs and stop doing the comb over...looks like your mental ritard uncle that is always around on Thanksgiving and Christmas. And he sounds like Ed McMahon but not the real one...the Phil Hatman impression he used to do on SNL...YES!

I guess you missed the part earlier in the day where he was urging the Panthers to draft his replacement in the second round.
Sure did miss it. Switching back and forth.Keyshawn may have finally grown up.But just because he's better in the studio than Irvin was doesn't cut it for me.The bar Irvin set is sooooo low. Id

Keyshawn has, from everything I've seen of him in the past, always been very well spoken.

Even if you have opinions that people don't care much for, if you can say them well, you get points for it.

I thought he was fantastic today, very insightful, well thought out and fairly well spoken. He brought a perspective you very rarely get, a candid view of a present day player
