KhaDarel Hodge WR Detroit Lions (1 Viewer)

An undrafted rookie free agent fighting to make the Rams final roster, and even if he does, is probably years away from fantasy relevance given the depth chart.

That said, Pro Football Focus gave him the highest rating among rookie WRs for the preseason.

A name to remember, perhaps for future reference.

Rams cut preseason standout WR KhaDarel Hodge

File for future reference:

LAR - Nine signed to Rams practice squad

Source: Los Angeles Times - Gary Klein

Free-agent CB Dominique Hatfield, TE Temarrick Hemingway, WR Khadarel Hodge, OG Jeremiah Kolone, TE Henry Krieger-Coble, WR Steven Mitchell, DB Steven Parker, QB Luis Perez and CB Ramon Richards were signed to the Los Angeles Rams practice squad Sunday, Sept. 2.

Browns activated WR KhaDarel Hodge (hamstring) from injured reserve.

Hodge returns after missing the last month. He opened the season as the No. 3 receiver before a pregame hamstring injury sidelined him in Week 4. With Odell Beckham out for the year, Hodge should take on a larger role in the offense.

@squistion - I am requesting a thread title update on this one!

Browns placed WR KhaDarel Hodge on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Good grief. With Hodge joining Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones on the COVID list as "close contacts," ex-Lion Marvin Hall will now be the Browns' "No. 1 receiver." Ja'Marcus Bradley and Derrick Willies will also be promoted from the practice squad. It's obviously a situation to avoid in fantasy, and all the more reason for the Browns to lean on their lethal rushing attack against the Jets' tanked defense. Hall will be worth a WR5 punt, however.

Browns placed WR KhaDarel Hodge on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

It's the second time in 10 days Hodge has been placed on the COVID-19 list. The difference this time is, he's COVID positive. At least as of Tuesday afternoon, none of Hodge's receiver mates have been identified as a "close contact." Hodge would be eligible to return for a potential Divisional Round playoff game, but that is going to be a heavy pull for the coronavirus-ravaged Browns. 2018 UDFA Hodge closes the book on this third NFL campaign with 11 catches for 180 yards. He made a few big plays as the Browns' No. 3/4 wideout. Already 26, Hodge is not an intriguing Dynasty league hold. He will be a free agent at season's end.

possible thread title change, @squistion?

Browns released WR KhaDarel Hodge.

Hodge, a special teamer and rotational receiver who signed a one-year, $2.14 million deal with Cleveland in May, couldn't crack the 53-man roster but is a candidate to land on the team's practice squad. Hodge caught 11 passes across nine games as a 25-year-old last season and had a fine 2021 preseason, catching four balls for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
