Kickers - any patterns? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone ever looked at the attempts for kickers at home vs away? Im wondering if coaches tend to be more conservative in away games and will send their kicker out rather than going for it? Or possibly coaches feel more confident at home to go for a long field goal rather then punting it away?

Anyone know if this has ever been looked at in depth?

This doesn't specifically look at attempts, but it has the kicker scoring from last year, including home vs. away... 2005 Kicking Final Stats.

22 teams scored more kicking at points at home, while only 10 teams scored more on the road.
