I want to bet one of my league members on if Orton can break the single season passing record - however he wants to make a stright up bet - I know that's a fool's bet.

Where would I find a good line to prove to him I should get like 10-1 odds or 20-1 odds.

Where would you accept this bet?

Seriously,

Just tell him it gets cold in Denver, and there are always hot starts in the NFL passing game due to good Sep/Oct weather across the country and that you need good odds.

I was hoping someone knew of a site that actually had the odd. Weird request I know - but I'm not making a fool's bet when I should be compensated accordingly if Orton breaks the record.

Bodog had a prop bet up at the end of last week of "Will someone break Dan Marino's single season yardage record?", and the price was +450 to say that someone would break the record. Of course, you get Orton, Manning, and Rivers if you take the Yes, so for JUST Orton I'd say price needs to be approx 8-1.

Orton has 1942 yards through 6 games. In the history of the NFL, 11 players have thrown for that many yards in the first 6 games. Only one of them (Brees) reached 5000 yards.

It's not up anymore. Bodog pretty routinely puts player props bets up for a few days and then they are never to be seen again.
