LA Chargers LBs (1 Viewer)

I have not seen anything about the 3 LBs since the draft, MFL offers no player updates on either of them and FBG has barely written anything while sending Colston way down the rankings. Who's the play here?

Perryman: getting the Green Dot by default? But he hasn't done much the last 2 yrs
Henley: getting an opportunity by being a 3rd round pick last yr (different coaching staff thou) and has been healthy all camp. He's lowkey the best value in this group
Colston: Rookie draft darling, everyone had him as LB1b too Cooper but the kid got injured and missed a lot of camp.

What's the insider information on these 3? Which one are you drafting today for re-draft

Redraft I'm probably going Perryman and not liking it at all. I see the other 2 jostling for playing time.

That is until Perryman gets his inevitable 3 week injury.

I would pass in redraft unless you are starting 4LB I think. Dynasty Colston looks like a decent pick.

I'd say Perryman to start the season(until Colston is caught up), Henley the whole season(doubt he is a big time point getter tho), and Colston later and in the future.
Colston would have the brightest future.

In Dynasty I go after Colson but not too hard. In redraft I am likely staying away as there are much better options situations to focus on.

Big Henley fan. Potential stud.

Colston is the heir apparent to Perryman.

Henley then Colston in Dynasty.
Stay away from Perryman.

Spent 11% of FAAB for Overshown, and didnt get him becuase another guy bid the exact same amount, but since he scored fewer pts than me week 1, he got him. Just an early sign how this season is going to go.
Henley and Colson are still there. Might just add one of them, because Jack Campbell is not a full time guy, IDC what anyone says.

Henley 40
Colson 35
Perryman 30

I wonder if they are going to do this for most of the year. Its ugly. I wouldn't mind seeing Henley and Colson playing full time.

Edited to add this. Sure sounds like its going to be a headache to own any of these guys.......

The Chargers had 16 defensive players in for at least 20 snaps last Sunday in a 22-10 win over Las Vegas. Going into the second game, Minter would like to get at least 19 players up to at least 16 snaps.
“When we have multiple good players at a position, to me, they all need to play,” Minter said. “We were fresh when we needed to be able to close out the game, so that’s how we want to kind of play this game for a while.”
Three players rotated a middle linebacker. Denzel Perryman, Daiyan Henley and Junior Colson each alternated series where they had the helmet where they got plays from Minter and then called them in the huddle.
“I didn’t remember half the time who I was talking to,” Minter said. “They did a great job, we were really not able to have any communication issues. Kudos to those guys and how they played as well.”
It was the first time Henley and Colson had had the green dot helmet. Henley, who saw 41 snaps on Sunday, saw only 51 on defense as a rookie last season, while Colson is a rookie.
Mack said he was joking with Colson last week because he said a couple of things differently in the huddle compared to Perryman and Henley, but he thought Colson held his own.

I cant do anything right, added Colson, and should have added Henley, I liked him last year but he never panned out. I might just add Henley too this week, probably need to spend up for him now tho. My team stinks! So in a 3 year keeper league, I am considering looking towards 2025 now.

Not sure what to say other than it may just remain a mess for awhile
I wonder if these scheme changes are hurting Derwin James as well. He seems to not be as aggressive this year in the parts of games I have seen. Maybe my sample size is too small and he is his usual self but the box score seems to back what I am seeing. He isn't really doing much. Doesn't seem to be blitzing or being around the ball much. So far it's been disappointing. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
