Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount, along with linebacker Terrance Pritchett, have been suspended indefinitely by coach Mike Bellotti for "a failure to fulfill team obligations.'' Bellotti said both players will be barred from all football-related activities until further notice.

Without more info it's hard to tell, but the thought crossed my mind too.

Apparently he was taking the word "voluntary" a little too literally, as in voluntary team meetings, voluntary workouts, etc. I don't know if there is an academic side involved, as well, but he is enrolled in school for the spring semester, so that is a good sign for this being temporary.

Maybe part of an elaborate plan to sway Bryce Brown to keep Oregon on his short list
