Well, it looks like I will be keeping my eye on this situation. It's typical though, I sit Jordan for two-weeks waiting to see if he's starting material, and then the week I want to use him with a sweet match-up against Cleveland the back flares up.
I'd say they are resting him. He CAN'T be listed as questionable for week 3 on the official report. The teams now release a practice report on Thursdays and the official injury report comes out on Fridays. The NFL changed the rules this year. But I'd say they are resting their horse like many teams do. He might have an injury or be banged up a bit, but let us wait until tomorrow before we get it going.
Lots of guys taking Wed's off right now. Gore/DJax, etc. He'll be OK this week. The fact that he had the bad back in the preseason too is a cause for concern going forward.
