From what I've gathered he's on the sidelines but isn't playing. To be honest, the only research I've done thus far is in this thread so I'm not sure how helpful I'll be.What happened to Lamont Jordan? I saw him on the sideline but he isn't playing.
He was not on the inactive list - he "tweaked" his back in pregame warmups and is not going to play - unbelievable!
check the game thread - it was on the gamecast - no linkHe was not on the inactive list - he "tweaked" his back in pregame warmups and is not going to play - unbelievable!![]()

It sucks big time when something like this happens but for you guys that started him, don't beat yourself up. No one knew this and there was no way you could have known. He kept trying to stretch it out and get out there but just couldn't get loose. That coupled with the game situation kept him on the sideline.I have a zillion angry emails this morning but there just honestly isn't anything we can do there. He was on the active list and expected to start right up to kickoff. JRB Lamont Jordan was on the active player list and in uniform for the game and expected to start. He tweaked his back right before kickoff and was on the sideline trying to get loose, but never stepped on the field. It was mentioned he was trying to stretch out his back, and throughout the game Jordan was shown pacing the sidelines and it looked like he wanted on the field but with the Raiders in control of the game, the team let Fargas and Lee handle the rushing duties.
This is true - I listened to the game on Sirius and the Oak announcers were suprised and expected Lamont to come into the game until the Raiders took solid control - then it was a "let him take the week off - we got this attitude" - if it was a closer game he may have gone in. One of those flukes - can't balme FBGs or anyone - they can't predict if a guy is going to get hurt during pre game warmups - remember Neil O'Donnel ripping his calf in pre game years back. Definitely stinks for Lamont owners - may cost me my game tonight - but no one to blame here - ok maybe Lamont for bwing a pansyHey Guys,Here's the summary from our Game Recap on Jordan:

I'm always amazed at how some people will react in a situation like that. How anyone can try and blame this site for not knowing Jordan wouldn't play is beyond me. Have some common sense people.Hey Guys,Here's the summary from our Game Recap on Jordan:

Thanks Stinger,I understand the emails though and it's fine. Most didn't know the situation and thought it was just an injury we missed that was reported. Once they see how it happened, most people are cool.JI'm always amazed at how some people will react in a situation like that.
