Lamont Jordan (1 Viewer)

Am I the only one that thinks Jordan will come out of nowhere to lead NE in rushing this week? He has a few things going for him. He's getting healthier and has some emotional incentive to gash his former team. It's one of those games where I expect Moss to torch the secondary and Lamont to get some yards and a touchdown against Oakland's futile run defense. Anyways, you got to have balls to play him in this late in the year but if you're in a deep league, I think he's worth the gamble. Go big or go home right

If he had done anything prior to this week, maybe. But after averaging 26 yards in the first 4 weeks he sat 8 weeks prior to putting up 18 yards last Sunday.

Your logic seems largely based on players wanted to stick it to their former team. Sure it's some incentive but it's a lot to base a start for a guys who's done crap this season and will clearly be sharing carries on Sunday.

Ahh, but we're talking about Belichick here. The guy will always throw in something from left field when you least expect it. I doubt the Raiders will be watching much film and preparing for Lamont this week. Clearly an element of surprise

I think the surprise would be if Jordan could play 5 plays without getting hurt.

No.

Asomugha will neutralize Moss, or at least keep him below average. Welker and Gaffney will benefit.

NE should be up enough in this game to run the ball, and it should be a mix of Sammy and Faluk. They'll want to run a lot to keep their injured defense off the field.

I think Morris has a nice game (~ 15 FPs - either 50/2 or 100/1), Faulk will post decent yds., BJGE is being phased out and Lamont is left w/ scraps.
