Could not disagree more. Drew is just an agent working to secure the best deal possible for his clients (and he is not known for holdouts). What does that have to do with the product on the field. From his book of business, I'd say he is rather successful and is a champion for players. I hope Briggs receives a huge payday. The guy deserves it. With the potential physical damage (like Ted Washington) present in the modern day NFL, he should at least get paid for the risk.Chicago Sun-Times sound pretty confident the Bears will franchise him. The tag figure will be $7.206 million.

There's also a nice picture on that page of Dom Rhodes jumping straight over the top of him yesterday.
I wonder how quickly Rosenhaus tell him to hold out of summer work once they do?
Man I can't stand Drew Rosenhaus. Stands for almost everything that's wrong about sport.
Sorry to stray from the OP's topic, but dude, your post says it all. Sport is not all about money. It's sad that people believe it is, however. Of course Briggs deserves a payday, but in the end it's just a game.Could not disagree more. Dude, seriously money is a big part of the equation. In a sport where every game could be your last payday, not only due to injury but non guaranteed contracts also, it's is very prudent to get as much $$$ as possible especially when it is deserved. It's admirable to let on that it's not for the money but it's a job and we all feel we should get as much compensation as we possibly can.Sorry to stray from the OP's topic, but dude, your post says it all. I was referring to sport, not the NFL, not even professional sport. 99.9% of people around the world don't play sport for money. It is great that money exists in sport - it gives people like me great jobs. But it's not the be all and end all. Surely you can understand that.Sorry to get off topic guys.Dude, seriously money is a big part of the equation.
