Lance Briggs (1 Viewer)

Any updates on him? I've had him stashed on my bench the last 2-3 weeks and hope he can be activated in time for fantasy playoffs.

From Rich Campbell on Twitter:

Trestman: LB Lance Briggs will not play vs. Cowboys. He'll be evaluated early next week & status for Browns game will be determined then.

I hear he's targeting next week to return. Thinking about him. If he suits up I wonder will he be in there on all the snaps that he usually is.

Yeah, I have him tentatively in my starting lineup after benching Worilds. If reports are that he's active and will be in for most snaps, I'm gonna need those tackles.

Optimistic reports coming in that Briggs is playing. From Rotoworld via Zach Zaidman:

Bears coach Marc Trestman is "optimistic" WLB Lance Briggs (shoulder) will play in Sunday night's game against the Eagles. Advice: Briggs resumed practicing last week and participated Wednesday on a limited basis. Barring a setback, he should finally be cleared to return in Week 16.

How much is he going to play though? Anyone have any insight? I'm starting to think his first game back might be too risky to play him in a championship.

My thoughts exactly. May stick with Roach due to this.

Would have been ideal if Briggs played last week and got the cobwebs out first.

Briggs himself has worried about his conditioning; I suspect he won't play 100% of the snaps.

He's my LB4 (behind Worrilow, Daryl Smith, and Willis) so I can roll the dice here. Low risk but high reward.

Well Briggs certainly stunk, so I'm glad I benched him. Unfortunately Von didn't help me out much either. Luckily I'm still contending for my championship with Worrilow and Willis playing tonight.

Their whole defense stunk last night and he was the ringleader. I picked up Bobby Wagner instead of him who did ok.
